The Spine is an important structure that extends from the base of the skull to the tail bone. It is made up of 33 small bones, known as the vertebrae, structured in a compact “Backbone” with cartilaginous discs between each of these vertebrae. There are natural spinal curves in the neck and lower back region which are maintained by a group of muscles and ligaments.

The Spine functions to maintain an upright posture supports the body weight, promotes spinal movements and protects the vital structures like Spinal cord and Nerves.

It becomes important to preserve the framework and function of our backbone in all ages and phases of life.
