How long does it take to remove a suture?
The time depends on the length of the incision and the over all health of the suture and the surrounding skin.
How to take care of a scar after surgical removal?
The wound should be kept dry or clean, should not be soaked or immersed in water. The original bandage should be kept on it at least for 24 hours. The other post-stitch removal care steps will be explained by the visiting doctor depending on the condition and general health of the patient. Any kind of exercise should be avoided on the day of the procedure performed.
